The sangria will be flowing as Festejar brings its four-day Spanish fiesta back to Manchester.
Albert Square will be filled with street food, live music and dancing when the festival returns for its fourth year from August 31 to September 3.
The party gets started on the Thursday night with a free performance from Seville flamenco maestro Chico Pere, from the renowned Calaíta Flamenco Son.
Promising 'a Spanish soul with a Manchester heart', the event will also include a Friday night DJ set from former Sankey's resident Miguel Manzano, who has played at both the original Manchester club and its Ibiza offshoot as well as the legendary Space.
Restaurants from around the city will be decamping to the square on Saturday to give free Spanish cooking masterclasses, while salsa master Roger FC will be hosting free dance workshops
Later in the evening, festival-goers can put their new dance moves into practice as Peruvian musician Tocha takes to the stage with his band for a Latin party night.
Street food stalls selling everything from tapas to tortillas will be open throughout the four days, joined by more traders at El Pequeño Mercado (The Little Market) on Saturday and Sunday.
Children’s activities and language games will also be available on Saturday and Sunday, provided by Instituto Cervantes Manchester.
The festival is open from 11am to 11pm each day and is free to attend.
